WAGGGS online, interactive activity that will give girls the chance to learn about Girl Guides and Girl Scouts in 100 other WAGGGS countries as we all celebrate 100 years together.
INTERNATIONAL IN A BAG
Now available from the international committee are 3 “International in a Bag” kits. These bags come with different topics from WAGGGS, 4 World Centres, UNICEF/UN and much more. Each bag has instant meetings for each branch on its topic complete with worksheets, activities campfires, games materials and instructions.
INTERNATIONAL IN A BOX CD
Each District in the province is receiving a CD from the provincial international committee called “International in a Box 2009”. On this CD you will find lots of ideas and information for including International in your program no matter what branch you work with. From games, crafts, songs, food, WAGGGS and the 4 World Centres info and more. The CD is a wonderful resource for all Alberta Guiders. Feel free to copy and pass on to your units! The CD was based on the work your Calgary Area International committee did last year compiling the international resource box that is available to you.
INTERNATIONAL IN A BOX
The International Committee has put together a Resource Box for your use containing files with games, crafts and other activities from all over the world. There is also information and activities on WAGGGS, the World Centres, Thinking Day, uniforms and trefoils around the world and much more.
