Saturday, October 16th, 2010, Camp Mockingbird. Open to all Girl Guides and Pathfinders. $35 per girl includes Saturday dinner, Sunday Breakfast & Transportation

Make New Friends but Keep the Old
Girl Guides of Canada-Guides du Canada celebrates its 100th Anniversary in 2010. All current and former Adult members in the Calgary Area are invited to register for a Homecoming Event to be held on October 3, 2010. The location will be Parkdale United Church, 2919 8th Ave NW, Calgary. A come and go tea will be held from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm. $10.00 will be collected at the door.

We will also be collecting for the Calgary Interfaith Food Bank supporting our National Initiative to eradicate poverty and hunger.
RECENT EVENTS
2010: Celebrating 100 years of Guiding!
Calgary Area 2010 Launch Party January 16, 2010
Units from all over the city took part in a parade, played historical games, enjoyed cupcakes and hot chocolate, and shared in a campfire kick-off GGC's 100th anniversary! Over 400 girls registered in advance for this event!
Each girl brought an item for the Calgary Interfaith Food Bank, and we filled many boxes with donations!
Calgary Area Youth Awards
Over 70 girls from Pathfinder and Ranger units all around Calgary were honoured for their achievements in Guiding on Sunday, October 25 2009.
YELLOW FISH ROAD
Girl Guides of Canada partners with Trout Unlimited Canada in an ongoing Community Environmental Service Project aimed at reminding Calgarians that our street level stormwater drains empty directly into local waterways. Would your unit like to take part? More info is available here.
