CALGARY AREA LIBRARY
HOURS OF OPERATION
The library is open when the building is open
We have discovered that occasionally Guiders have Library Books out that they don't realize they have. These books may have been given to them by another member, a retiring leader, or a leader moving on to another level of the program.
At this time we would like to ask all of our members to take a moment to review the books they may have at home or at their meeting place to ensure that they do not have any misplaced library books. Any leaders returning these books will not be subject to overdue fines -- we would just appreciate the books back.
We would also like to remind our members that our Library is for Member use only. We do not allow parents to borrow items from the library for it is very difficult if not impossible to get these books back once they become overdue.
DONATIONS AND REQUESTS
Please drop any donations of resource books off to Joan at the Guide Centre for review and possible re-use in our Library.
We realize how busy our volunteers are. We also realize that a well-stocked Resource Library is a great benefit to all of our members So with this in mind we are working diligently to bring our library up to date and to ensure that we have all the resources available that a Guider may need.
If there is something you would like to see in our Library that we currently do not have, please make Joan at the Guide Centre aware of the book, the author, or the subject that you would like to see, and we will make every effort to include this in our Library.
